Doug Dixon

Doug is a native of Rembert, SC, who has come “back home” to plant The Lighthouse Church. He has eleven years of ministry experience in pastoral staff and lead pastor positions. Doug graduated from Columbia International University and received his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Doug has a heart for seeing people won to the Lord and for teaching people how to live their lives based on God’s principles, so that they are authentic, real witnesses in their daily lives. He also has a passion for seeing the church being all God called it to be and empowered it to be. Specifically, God put a call on Doug’s heart to plant TLC in order for the church to reflect God’s love for all ethnicities, economic levels, and social classes, and to use non-traditional methods to as effective as possible in reaching all these.

Doug is married to Leslie. They have two young children, Anna and Caleb.
